Ugly fan redo

I spray painted the fan with Rustoleum Hammered brown. What a difference it made!! I used heirloom white on the blades. Ta-da a new fan. Head over to Shanty2chic to look at the other projects.

Berry pink Redo

I bought this a while back I have finally gotten around to painting it berry pink. I bought these 4 crystal knobs at Target last year on clearance for $4.48. The whole thing was less than 10 dollars. Ta-daaaa I am very happy with the finished product.....tickled pink!! This will go in my scrap room. I am still rearranging and trying to make things right in my room. I'll post pics when I am done.

Thrifty stuff

I found this nice chair for $9 at the Faith Mission thrift shop, not pictured is a mirror with a very ornate frame$3, and the candle holder was $2. At GW I found a diploma frame brand new originally $35 I got it for $3.99, another friend frame for $1.99, a Brighton eyeglass holder for $.99, 2 sets of sheer curtains one pink the other white for $1.99 each, a VHS Home alone movie $.50, little shoes for Juliana all for $1.49, and a sign for $.99. Not to bad now head on over to Rhoda's for the thrift party she throws once a week. Have a blessed week. Oh I am not sure if I will possibly paint the chair or reupholster it. The latter scares me a bit :)

Love my finds

Look what I found 75% off at Target! A cupcake filled with playtime stuff. It was $3.82. It is the cutest thing!
A Waverly magnetic board 99 cents, gravy tureen $1.49, a lamp $1.99 all of these found at Goodwill. A plant stand that needs repainting $2.00, paint brushes marked $1.47 each that I got for 50 cents, brooches which i have been looking for all over to use on candle/ lamp deco for 25 cents each. Thriftin

I had a pretty good week at Goodwill. I found a shelf 99 cents, baby wash clothes brand new 99 cents, a Cabbage Patch newborn 99 cents, teacher frame 99 cents and my fave find of the week Marc Ecko purse 3.99. Oh also this cork board that was cherry looking wood I painted this blue for my niece Gaby and added some bling to it. It cost 1.49.
I went to one yard sale. Bought this t-shirt with a crown and bling (my fave) for 5 bucks!!! It was brand new. She had lots of brand new stuff for clearance prices. She said her parents own Cub Drug in Olney, Tx and they have her throw a yard sale once in awhile. The sale tag was over the original one and the shirt was priced for 35 dollars. Wow!!!

I love to shop at Tuesday Morning....they carry great things. I bought this bag filled with Heidi Swapp stuff for 20 bucks!!! The bag itself is wonderful. So go check it out!

Goodwill finds

Hubby and I went to Goodwill so that I could find a bargain. I spent 10 bucks. I got 2 of the greenery planters 2.99 each, the Asian style tray 1.49 and the spice jar thingee 1.99...what is that called??? Here is the tag for the tray. Makes me smile at the great bargain! I left very happy with my new found finds. I enjoyed our running around just being together...love my hubby he is the best!

Re-doing scrap room

A door that I bought at our local habitat for humanity thrift store....it is called Builder's bargains. I bought this door for a whole 2 dollars!!!!
I painted it this green color which I love Aplle green from Valspar. I bought a paint sample from Home Depot for a dollar. YES!! New table 3 dollars spent so far.
I found these from Lowes on CLEARANCE!!!!! So happy I bought the last 2 they had...hubby said you only need one....hmph!!! No I needed both and if they would have had more I am sure I would have bought them! :) My scrap room is still in progress. I'll post those pics when i am finished.

Sisters canvas

I made this canvas for one of my besties Lala. She and I have been friends since I was in the 3rd grade. I love and cherish her greatly. I miss her already. I hope everyone who reads this has a great friend like I have been blessed with Diana. Have a great day everyone!
